if you're on tiktok for more than 20 minutes, youve probably already seen a dni list on your fyp, youve also probably seen people comment on that same video "yeah idc im still interacting" or something like that. dni lists provide your opinions on certain fandoms, beliefs, and sometimes even someones age. dni lists spread across tiktok and will always come up to someone on that dni list, no matter how much you dont interact with people. the only things that can be considered "good" for dnis is views and to make friends who also hate one of the things on a dni list. if im completely honest, a lot of fandoms can be considered "bad", but that doesnt mean every person is "bad" in it, it just means a few people screwed around/got too comfortable and it got popular on there. a lot of fandoms are problematic and can cause controversy for the fans and antis of such fandoms.
why i think DNI lists dont work/arent useful

theyre either ignored or are used as a way to tell others what makes you upset and they then can use it agaisnt you, ppl should jus block ppl they dont like, no need to put a big sign that says "HEY I HATE THIS!!" all over your profile :|
or jus ignore them if they dont like em, its rlly not that hard LMAO

EXACTLY!! the block button is so easy to hit, if you don’t want people like that on your fyp, blocking helps a lot!!

It started in tiktok? I always wondered where they came from cause Spacehey was the first time I've ever seen/heard of a dni list.
i have seen some on spacehey but with the amount of time ive been on tiktok id say ive seen over 100
