Thanks to Wacky Alex, for posting a bulletin which inspired me to write a bit. :o) And also before I start, I will refer to him as a 'they' often because these also apply to billionaires other than him, incase it seems worded weirdly.
The only way in this world to get rich- filthy rich, is by playing dirty. A prime example of this is Elon Musk, Owner of Tesla, SpaceX, and recently Twitter. (minus the other companies he minors in, or aren't as important here) These companies, minus Twitter (for now), solely profit and get materials through the abuse of their workers, especially the miners that gather the materials he uses. Not to mention all of the scamming.. He overpromises and overachieves, but as always, fail them because he can't fit the demands. People don't get the Teslas they order, or when they do get them, they're incredibly weak and get jacked from simply hitting a pinecone. But like Bezos, he uses cheap labor to gather supplies, and wealth for him. No rich person has gotten rich ethically.
Also, on the purchase of Twitter now, he's gone on a rampage of firing any employee trying to keep Twitter functional, or who criticize him. No innovative person will get anywhere acting like a man-child like he does when he's rightfully criticized. Similarly, after buying Twitter, the user count, advertisers, and sponsors have gone down significantly. Many advertisers are pulling away from Twitter because of how badly he's running the site, and it's seen as trashy almost to work with the dumpster-fire that Twitter has become. As a once avid user, the decline in quality is harsh. But, through all of this and all of his mistakes, he's unable to look back to himself and see why the site is failing. He's incapable of self reflection, and instead lashes out at others for his failures.
The ultra rich like them also depend on marketing back to those they harm to continue their wealth hoarding. Elon Musk is a big example. He markets himself through memes, social media, product placements, and relevance to keep the younger audiences hooked and to defend him. They all work so hard to defend him, all for nothing in return. Musk has brainwashed millions into following his influence blindly, by painting him as a 'wholesome meme billionaire' who 'connects with Gen-Z'. But they won't get anything back from their daddy Elon. All that happens is they look like fools. The wealthy don't have the peoples interests in mind, just how to exploit their labor.
