It's my 22nd birthday today! I have officially hit another double digit in repeats lmao. I got some pretty dope stuff including some new warm clothes, a book I've been dying to read (House of Leaves), and a new blanket. I got to hangout with family and soon I will be celebrating with my friends!
I expect us to maybe get some drinks and hangout at somebody's house (most likely mine), I'm thinking of getting one of those card games from my work; maybe "What Do You Meme?" or maybe the game for stoners, that one would be fun lmao.

oh House of Leaves is AMAZING you're going to love it
I saw a video essay about liminal spaces and it had a section about the backrooms. During that section, the narrator ended up mentioning the book and gave a brief description of the plot and even some screenshots of the pages; I ended up falling in love w/ the idea of the book after that. I was looking for it everywhere until my mom picked up a copy for my birthday.
I am so excited to start reading this. It looks so cool.

it's very unique and since u r interested in liminal spaces/backrooms/that kind of vibe then the book is a very good match. i had luckily been able to borrow it when it was really popular so i remember when it felt like everyone was talking about it lol

I honestly have never heard of this book. Ig I missed out on the popularity, but it's really cool to see ppl still sharing the love for it around!
