Horror fans eating good this year

Honestly, we’re eating up tonight! Halloween Ends comes out in October along with season 2 of Chucky. Dead By Daylight had a new major update with Resident Evil, and we’re getting 2 new horror games (Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Killer Klownz from Outter Space) by the people who made the Friday The 13th game, which they had to sadly abandon due to legality issues. 

Basically Friday The 13th was in copyright limbo since it’s last official movie since the two parties who felt like they should own the movie we’re fighting for the rights. This has since been resolved but during the time the people who made the Friday The 13th game didn’t have anybody they could buy a license for the franchise for. So they had to abandon the game once the legal issues were sorted. 

But they bought the licensing for Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Killer Klownz so they can freely work on them and not have to abandon them! 

2022 is a good year for horror fans, excluding the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2022 movie. That one was just- not a good movie in my opinion. They brought Sally back and for what? No reason. I love Sally, but she doesn’t hold the same water as Laurie does as for being a reoccurring character. They wrote Sally so plainly. It was one dimensional and the comedy in the movie did not land. 

Who says “you’re gonna get cancelled” to a man wearing another man’s face holding a chainsaw? 

Eugh.
