Dreamy Weather Beneath the Starry Sky (Poem)

Cold and cloudy, snow falls, flitting lightly

Behind the shroud, there sit stars, burning brightly

In the midst of winter, no sun in sight

And I fall, from such a massive height...

...in love, lightly, like that snow from above

Within the wind I drift, a feeling like a gift

But the scenery shifts, born therein, a rift...

...between clouds, now apart

Just like me, with my painful heart

I change, once snow, now rain

Falling harder, into even deeper pain...

...the kind without end, an endless sort of trend

Into the ground I go, fallen, in need of mend

Collapsed, dispersed, nothing left to spend

Melted, I look to the sky

The sun, reflected in my eye

It becomes the moon, oh, so high

A reflection nightly, beyond my reach, so far

Having fallen, having lost this thing, my heart

How, in what way, can I heal this scar

As I, always falling away

Will never reach those stars
