Suspect in deadly I-70 truck crash convicted on most serious counts, including vehicular homicide

Wow! They made him sound like an evil person who was out to kill people. He made many serious mistakes that resulted in the death of 4 people, serious injuries, and causing lots of property damage, but he was not out to kill people. I don't think he should go to prison but he should be seriously punished. I feel that prison should only be used to put people away that are too dangerous to be in public. This driver made a seriously poor judgment call but he is not a danger to others. Putting him in prison will not benefit anyone. He should be punished though and the punishment should fit the poor judgment call he made. Definitely make it so that he will never get a CDL again, pay the families for their loss (right the wrong), including the loss of loved ones, community service, and pay fines and fees. Yes, he will be in debt the rest of his life but he will hopefully learn from his mistakes and be a better person for it. Prison does nothing but ruins a person's life which is why it should only be used for people who are too dangerous to be in society.
