MY HAIR???????????!!!!!!!!!1

so i got my haircut today and i have no idea how to style it AT ALL. so i got like those emo chunky layer thing and im thinking maybe its not chunky enough? but my hair is really curly and when i straighten is it gets REALLY big and fluffy and ive been trying to get it back to the way that it was at the salon but it is just not working. someone pls tell me how to get good scene hair without me having a rage fit pls pls pls
