The staircase winds, another staircase entwined
A double helix, one and one, forever in a bind
Birth and death, as quick as the quickest breath
Life, its strife, is what holds them together
Birth and death, between them, that is its tether
They are stairs not which one walks
But merely ideas of which He talks
Though birth and death dance
Life, is when one might glance
At either end, only by chance
So live, live happily, live upon this Earth
Think not, question not, the day of your birth
Death cometh, fret not, ‘tis not your worth
The stairs overlap, a trinity collapse
Birth, life, and death
Quicker than the quickest breath
If you were to learn one, just one rhapsody
Then hear this, you live to live happily
