I haven’t been able to find the words most of the day. Still at a loss. Living, working, and volunteering in the recovery community, sadly, sometimes numbs you to the losses. They often come so frequently, and aren’t always a shock.

But you, Chase Daub, well, you were different. This one seriously hurts my fucking heart.

I hope you knew how loved you were, by so many. I hope you knew how many lives you touched. I’m grateful I met you and was there to see the light come back into your eyes and your heart.

You will be missed by so many.

I will miss you and your infectious smile and eagerness to help.

We love you. Rest easy friend.
