RoeVsWade & SAFETY WHEN PROTESTING!!!!!!

If anybody does not know already, Roe vs Wade was overturned the other day.

Roe vs wade is a law that was a shield for uterus owners and their bodily autonomy.

With this law being overturned, uterus owners lose bodily rights such as abortion and pregnancy healthcare.

States in the USA can now choose to criminalize abortion and make it illegal.
I want people who believe themselves to be pro-life to read this next part carefully, okay?

Banning abortion does not stop abortion. Banning abortion only stops safe ones.

Abortion is a extremely hard decision for EVERYONE.

Abortion does not kill "babies" it ends a fetuses growth and terminates the pregnancy.

Reasons for abortion include: Ectopic pregnancies, Finiancial instability, Lack of resources, Incest, Rape, Disabilities or somebody just not able to carry to term but many more reasons.

Placing a child into the foster system also has little to no benefit. Besides causing bodily trauma to the birth giver, children often experience abuse in the system.

"25 percent to as high as 40 percent of former foster children report having been abused or neglected in care."
Is a estimated percent i have found.
(if anyone would like links to links to study on any of this just lmk)

RoeVsWade could also interrogate anyone who had a miscarriage and put them in jail for up to, what i believe is, 10 years.
Felons cannot vote, if you are convicted for having a miscarriage or an abortion, you can not vote.

Because this bill has been passed, they can also go into passing other bills that will affect LGBTQ+, POC, Low income and many more.
We have lost our shield since this bill has passed and this country is going through its downfall according to statics throughout history.

I won't go into extreme detail in this blog but i can in the future.

Now getting into protesting:

Even peaceful protests can turn dangerous. If you protest, it never hurts to go with a buddy or two.

Cover any identifiers such as tattoos, birthmarks, piercings, ect

Write a safe person's phone number somewhere on your body for you to call if you get arrested or something happens.

Try not to bring your personal phone if possible, try getting s burner.
If you have your personal phone make sure you do not have a screensaver of anyone's face and MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT USE A FACE SCANNER OR A THUMB PRINT TO UNLOCK YOUR PHONE- USE PASS-CODES.

Police can dress as civilians so look for handcuff outlines (specifically men who look out of place)

try to wear long clothing NOT loose if possible, loose clothing is easier to grab onto.

try to pack masks, LOTS of water, safety kit and a non oil based sunscreen (oil sun-screen would agitate your skin from tear gas)

wear glasses and not contacts

DO NOT TOUCH TEAR GAS CANISTERS

if you get gas in your eyes DO NOT USE MILK- USE WATER

Do not provoke police but stand up for anyone being targeted-
And this is for my fellow white people!!!!!
If you see a police officer approaching a person of color, stand up for that person! Police are less likely to become violent with a fellow white person and if you stand as a barrier you can use your whiteness to helps someone.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
DO NOT POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA-
YOU ARE PUTTING PEOPLE AT RISK AS WELL AS YOURSELF

Know your rights.
Police are no longer required to read your rights to you when being detained so learn them.

You have the right to remain silent.
(i would stay silent until you can talk to your attorney in private)

Everything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law
(You may say "i am invoking my right to remain silent and am waiting for my attorney to be present" and stay silent. You can not be tried as innocent or guilty if you shut up.)

You have the right to an attorney. if you can not afford an attorney the state will provide one for you (mind you they'll probably be shit)

Mind you, i am probably getting something wrong so please correct me so i can research further. if anyone has something to add please do.
