I want a happy life,
One that doesn't move too fast or too slow,
One that isn't too stressful but not too bland,
One that isn't too exciting but not too boring,
One with you.
One where I can wake up a couple minutes before you,
Just to admire how peaceful you are before your responsibilities hit you,
One where I'll see a glistening smile every morning and night,
Reminding me of shiny, broken glass sparkling in the sun
One where I feel the sweetest kisses, after you're home from work
I believe in the saying,
"Home is where your heart is"
Considering you've stolen mine
This means you're my home
I like to believe that there's a difference between a house and a home.
A house is a structure made from materialistic tools to build a shelter
A home is where you feel safe with someone you love,
Where you can feel as if not even the world ending can take you off your high
Where your smile is,
Where your heart is,
Where you are.
I'm counting the seconds
Seconds until i can watch you care for our cat
One that we've probably named after the craziest thing
Until I can watch you get ready for work knowing I'll be the one you come "home" to
Until I'm able to hug, and kiss, and love you as much as I'm dying to right now
If this is what I'll have with you,
Darling- I'd wait years upon years,
All if I'll be able to feel you and your arms around me after a stressful day.
I'd wait for you,
Even if you didn't ask me to.
All because of you
And what you said
"You are my home"
If I'm your home I'd be way more than happy to meet you half way
Because I'd do anything to feel how I feel right now,
Right next to you.
