Twitter's double standards

Some of you may know that I'm a Twitter refugee.

While not being known to a vast majority, I've seen plenty of examples of this app/site's double standards and inequal punishments.

I don't really expect Twitter to change for better after Musk bought it out, given his kowtowing to the CCP... oh, speaking of these bloody rats!

How is it okay for the Chinese authorities (by the way, why won't they crawl back to Weibo or whatever they're using over the wall, instead of trying to sneak in to the "rotten" Western internet?) to write out direct death threats to the Taiwanese president (and the entire country), for the CCP bots to write essays on torturing the Taiwanese in ways perhaps not even Putin & Co. would even think of, but it's a grave offense for a regular user to call someone an idiot and brush it off as "hate speech"?

Don't get me wrong, rule breakers should be punished appropiately to their offenses. But this statement no longer has power if your rules are unclear or if the rules are not enforced equally.

If regulars can be suspended for a swear word, then why won't Twitter slay the everloving shit out of users like Hu Xijin of Global Times, or even the "newspaper" itself? Hypocrisy much?

This is why Twitter is doomed. Especially with Musk on board.

I would also talk on how Twitter claims to be on the side of LGBT community yet banning people who speak out against TERFism and so on. Just sharing some of my thoughts about that rotten bird platform.

Hopefully SpaceHey won't let me down ❤️
