can you be racist towards white people

I have a boyfriend, I just started dating (he's white and i'm black). My ex boyfriend who won't stop texting/spamming me, is making racist remarks towards him. For example: "he only likes you because he fetishes black women" or "he talks behind your back and calls you the n-word". Like just because he's white is kind of unacceptable. If a white person did that to a black person everyone would be rightfully pissed. My boyfriend hasn't done anything to my ex and I feel like it's going to ruin our relationship because it's clearly stressing me out and yesterday I just started crying to him. If you want to respond please do, I just want someone else's opinion.
