Recently I saw a TikTok video of someone wondering how sound travels through electronics and phone lines and I decided to write about it cause in bored. To understand how it gets found by electronics, you first need to understand what sound exactly is. Sound is vibrations being felt by your eardrums and decoded by your brain. Slower vibrations get decoded as low sound, faster ones as high sound. Bigger vibrations sound louder, smaller ones shorter. In microphones, there is a little sensor in them picks up the analog vibrations and sends them back to the computer as different digital signals. With speakers, they have what is pretty much a motor (or motors) inside them that vibrate at different frequencies according to the digital signal in order to create an analog sound. Note that not all microphones and speakers will ever sound the same as they all have varying levels of quality that can make them better at reading/making sound or worse. OF course, this isn't and in-depth explanation but i hope this helped someone out there! :]
