What i think of fast fashion!

First of all, what is fast fashion? Fast fashion refers to clothing that is manufactured, sold, and purchased quickly and cheaply. You might wonder, "What’s wrong with that?" The problem is that these garments cause significant environmental pollution—often being made of polyester—not to mention the exploitation of workers, including minors. On top of that, people tend to discard these items shortly after buying them, which exacerbates the issue. In my opinion, we should try to buy as few of these garments as possible. 

However, the point I want to make is this: this topic has sparked heated debates within the alternative community. Some people attack those who shop at fast-fashion stores, yet many of the critics speak from a position of privilege; they fail to consider that some people simply cannot afford handmade clothing or the materials to make it themselves. I don't see a problem with buying fast-fashion items, provided they last at least a year and aren't thrown away after just a few months.
