Well I'm from Iraq
When I was 10 yrs old I asked my parents how life was in Saddam's regime
they said it was miserable and i started to search abt it and here is the results
I found Saddam Hussein to be very similar to Adolf Hitler for several reasons.
First: Both committed genocide against certain groups of people. Saddam Hussein carried out genocidal campaigns against the Kurds, while Hitler was responsible for the Holocaust, in which millions of Jews were murdered.
Second: Both believed in the idea of uniting people under a single nation based on their ideology. Saddam promoted Arab nationalism and believed in the unity of the Arab nation, while Hitler promoted the idea of an Aryan nation and Aryan racial supremacy.
Third: Both used violence and public executions to create fear and discourage people from resisting their rule.
Fourth: Both invaded neighboring countries. Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait in 1990, while Hitler invaded many European countries during World War II. Italy was Hitler's ally, and Spain remained officially neutral, although it was sympathetic to the Axis.
Fifth: Both relied on secret police to punish and intimidate people, even when they were only suspected of opposing the government. Saddam Hussein's Iraqi Intelligence Service (IIS) was used to monitor, arrest, torture, and punish suspected opponents. Hitler's Gestapo performed a similar role, arresting and persecuting people considered enemies of the Nazi regime, many of whom were later sent to concentration and extermination camps during the Holocaust.
Sixth: Both ruled through highly authoritarian political parties. Hitler led the Nazi Party, while Saddam Hussein led the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party in Iraq. Although the two parties had different ideologies, both became the dominant political force in their countries, suppressed opposition, controlled many aspects of public life, and helped maintain the leaders' absolute power.
Seventh: Both leaders were cowards when their regimes collapsed. As Nazi Germany was defeated in 1945, Hitler remained in his Berlin bunker and died by suicide rather than being captured by the Allied forces. When Saddam Hussein's government fell in 2003, he went into hiding for several months before being captured by U.S. forces near Tikrit.
Adolf Hitler: Approximately 17–20 million direct victims of Nazi crimes; 50–60+ million deaths if the broader casualties of World War II are included.
Saddam Hussein: Approximately 250,000–500,000 deaths attributed to his regime according to many historical estimates, with some higher but disputed estimates reaching around 1–2 million victims.
For these reasons, I believe Saddam Hussein and Adolf Hitler shared several important similarities in the way they ruled, used fear to maintain power, and pursued aggressive nationalist policies.

Yup. You are so right. Saddam particularly targeted shia Muslims and had absurdly strict rules, like his soldiers wont let shias enter their shrines without amputating their limbs of. A total loser he was.
