School should be better.

So, the Philippines is facing many issues right now, especially in schools and with children. I’d first like to point out that English is not my first language, so there might be grammatical errors, but I’m trying to spread this issue as far as possible.

Recently, there have been school shootings and violent students everywhere. The government and SOME parents are blaming social media and video games instead of focusing on the real issue. The real issue is the lack of supervision and discipline for children. The blame isn’t on the games; it’s on you.

This issue bloomed when a student got a gun from one of their relatives—this is not the video games' fault it is the relatives who made the gun easily accessible, and this student knows how to use the gun, so it means he might have been taught, because even pistols are not easy to use. And how did even a gun got in the school in the first place? Checking students bag throughly should be an everyday thing but they only did this when the issue started. It could’ve been prevented when they did this before.

Please stop blaming and start focusing on the real problems
