I'm writing this part on June 26th of 2026. I just felt like sharing a few little updates and other things I have received.

‎First of all, I'm still fine, everyone is here. Aftershocks are still happening, I actually woke up today with 3 notifications of these, but thankfully they happened in another state and are just around 3.0M.

‎On the other side, Humanitarian Aid has arrived between yesterday and today, I assume, and probably will keep coming... As far as I know, we are getting the help of: The United States, Mexico, Chile, El Salvador, Ecuador, Spain, Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands... other countries like France, Brazil, Argentina, Russia, China and India also expressed «their solidarity with Venezuela and stated that they are willing to help» (BBC).

‎You can read more about it in the references, as you can obviously research anything mentioned in this whole post.

‎A very curious Venezuelan hero in this whole story is the rescue dog, Tsunami. I got to know about him through my friend's statues on WhatsApp lol. According to El Nacional, the dog saved a man around the age of 60 who was trapped below the ruins of the Rita Residences, a collapsed residential building in the San Bernardino district of Santo Domingo.

It seems he's saving even more people too, but idk, I'm honestly too tired to search for more news about it, because most of them are on Instagram and I don't have Instagram and I think y'all know how ANNOYING Instagram is towards people who don't have Instagram.

‎Anyways, Tsunami's trainer, Jorge Beens, says the dog was part of has also participated in «the Simón Bolívar Humanitarian Task Force deployed in Türkiye after the devastating earthquakes that shook that nation and Syria in 2023».

I couldn't find any further information about it cuz right now everything is about the earthquakes that happened here, so, yeah.

«Before becoming a rescuer, Tsunami was a victim of animal abuse and was abandoned. The Animal Defense Association (APROA) rescued him from the streets, and after his recovery, he was recommended to his trainer, Beens, due to the potential that Border Collie dogs have for search and rescue work».

On other news, It seems Venezuela wasn't the only country that suffered an earthquake during these past days, around June 23rd and 24th I think... overall this week I guess, but ours was definitely the most affected out of them all apparently... we are soooo lucky.

‎Both La Crónica de Hoy and El Debate Pregón say that 6 earthquakes happened around the world, although in total 8, because they have two different mentions in the list and forgot to add the Philippines.

‎One of them was Venezuela's 7.2M and 7.5M twin earthquakes.

‎The other country was Japan, with an earthquake of ~6.9M near the prefecture of Iwate...

‎There was a ~6.5M earthquake on the Philippines as well (although none of the articles mentioned it for some reason)...

‎Another one was the United States on the north of California with a magnitude of ~5.6...

‎At the east of Kokopo, on Papua New Guinea, there was an earthquake of ~5.4M...

‎In China there was one of ~5.2M, located in the prefecture of Haixi... 

‎There was one on Peru, on the amazonic region of Ucayali with a magnitude of ~4.9...

‎I'm a little confused regarding Japan and the Philippines, because it seems they suffered more earthquakes previously before those days. So I invite you to look for yourself if you're curious. But overall, those were most of the earthquakes that happened around those days

‎Omg my dryer is having a seizure guys... ok I just stopped lol, I think it broke again. We been using a lot because of the people staying at my place now, the couple and the old senile lady. I hope it didn't truly broke tho, I don't want us to hang a bunch of blankets and clothes around the house and the clothes line T_T

‎Returning to the topic... It seems this whole thing is due to the Pacific Ring of Fire, which «coincide with the boundaries of several of the largest and most active tectonic plates on the planet, such as the Pacific Plate, the Nazca Plate, the Cocos Plate, and the Philippine Plate, among others» (La Crónica de Hoy).

‎«At these plate boundaries, a geological process known as subduction occurs. This happens when a heavier tectonic plate, usually oceanic, slides beneath a lighter continental plate. As the plate descends into the Earth's depths, the high temperatures and pressures melt the rock, turning it into magma. This magma tends to rise toward the surface, giving rise to violent volcanic eruptions and an accumulation of energy that, when released suddenly, causes earthquakes».

As you can see, the... very approximate location... because umm, I don't think Venezuela is on Guyana and Suriname, but whatever XD... you can see that the location of each earthquake is on or very nearby the Pacific Ring of Fire.

‎In the map below they forgot to add China and Peru... Ironically, although Chile is nearby Peru and is known for its high seismic activity... It seems no earthquake or tremors happened lol, although I'm not sure, I only saw a warning for them. But as for today June 26th of 2026 at 3:50 PM, I don't see any news about such. Thankfully there won't be any, I hope :c

‎Btw as you can see as well, they put Philippines earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9... and I'm confused because I searched and found dates like June 15th, then on 23th, and today 26th, which is the one with ~6.5M I put.

‎Probably the map is outdated or made some days before, teehee, sorry... but at least you can clearly see what I said about the Ring of Fire.

‎It looks things are pretty bad in the Philippines right now, at least from what I'm seeing. Japan and Peru as well :c

‎Idk if it's as bad in the other countries mentioned, but I hope it isn't.

‎This is what sum article of The Guardian say about some of the eartquakes:

‎«A 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck a rural part of northern California on Wednesday. Hours later, a 7.2-magnitude earthquake hit the northern coast of Japan and two powerful earthquakes rocked Venezuela in a devastating mass casualty event. The tremors happened in the span of eight hours, prompting online speculation over whether they were related».

‎«The episodes do share a similarity in that they all occurred along well-known plate boundaries with high seismic hazard, according to William Barnhart, assistant coordinator for the US Geological Survey’s (USGS) earthquake hazards program. But their timing on Wednesday was simply a coincidence».

‎Welp... I'm eating a lollipop rn and it's 4:14 PM. I haven't gotten any other reports of aftershocks, at least in my phone. But I heard that La Guaira (the most affected state) has a lot of traffic and that an accident happened, but I haven't seen further honestly...

My clothes dryer broke btw, so... Hmm, idk how to end this. It's been some very exhausting days, but at least this lollipop is very yummy.

Ok... It's 6:47 PM, and this time I did feel another aftershock, like, around 6:10 PM, and my friends felt it too. I got a notification some minutes later.

Another news I got is that there are people trying to steal and kidnap children at hospitals and rescue shelters. But I don't know much about it, although it's absolutely possible and above all disgusting :(

«...Ange Rodríguez publicly denounced through her digital platforms a series of highly suspicious movements that would point to alleged attempts to irregularly recruit children and babies who have been orphaned or separated from their families after the catastrophe».

«"In the last few hours, reports have started to emerge that children and babies have been taken away and their whereabouts are now unknown," Rodríguez warned in his post, where he also shared cases in which private individuals have taken minors from rescue points without their current location being known».

«Rodríguez emphasized that the lack of a strict protocol in the current earthquake crisis could open the door to trafficking networks or abuse, worsening the situation of a population already extremely vulnerable. "They've already endured enough tragedy without who knows who might want to take them," she questioned».

Sigh... well... It seems things aren't going so great on that side... Honestly you have to be an absolute monster to be kidnapping children after a FUCKING tragedy, omg, I hope all of those people die and the kidnapped children get to return safe to their families :c

I don't what else you tell you guys. I'm so tired of writing. I been writing for TWO DAYS straight... ok not straight I have slept, but... yeah, since the very moment I wake up, both yesterday and today, I been writing stuff on my notes and it is now that I'm pasting everything here and allat... And it's night once again...

Ok, this is all byeee. I'll make an update if anything new happens, although honestly I feel I'll take a break and a bath, but the bath first and the break later, and I hope another aftershock DOESN'T happens while I'm under the shower cuz I'm not running outside naykid, nuh uh, I'd rather die.
