oldschool myspace vs spacehey music charts

there's an issue i'm waiting to be addressed here on spacehey. that issue? the music charts. myspace, the site this site was based on, was huge for indi musicians. why? simple, they made an effort to promote their musicians. on myspace, (and i guess it's logical it's still a music website similar to soundcould) artist where able to upload and sell music from the site itself. (now that i think about it that was probably partly how tom made his money from the site) as a result the music charts on myspace where myspace users. it's been a while since i used myspace so i don't recall if it had a new music chart as well as top music chart (which would be a huge asset as it would make promotion easier outside of the networking the artist themselves are doing) but what is spacehey doing? are they doing anything like that for musicians using their website? well, if you go to the music charts tab you only see top artist, and where is this data coming from? not spacehey, no this data is coming from apple music, and none of the links are helping promote any artist on spacehey either. i'm waiting for an to implement something that helps promote indi music the same way the OG myspace did. mind you, i'm not asking for spacehey to become soundcloud. i love the social network aspects here and that's my main reason for being here but, spacehey currently doesn't have much to offer it's a more private platform yes but thats certainly not as big a selling point as something like say the free speech on most other alt tech platforms, the groups and pages on facebook, or whatever the heck it is twitter is selling (i really can't say but i have a bias against that platform) i'm sure he is working on it i just wanted to bring attention to it.
