I know its so frequently talked about everywhere regarding the government and other world powers, but I really truly wonder, what don't we know-- and how bad are the things we dont know compaired to what we do?
im willing to bet that the same government that drugged people in an attempt to make the ultimate super soldier spy (look it up, mkultra), and torture people in the name of terrorism, and then make an entire population agree with them, has done much, much worse things nobody knows about. yes im talking about the cia. ok...?

i mean.. while i'd like to know the same, i don't think asking this question achieves anything; i would assume the people on this site are laymen who know just as much as you (or less, probably). not to sound like a paid twitter bot but i am of the belief MOST governments want the best for their citizens, where fighting underground crime no one knows about can for example be kept secret in order to maintain a sense of stability and peace among the population. america has to be an exception in this though.. what the hell are they doing
i like to think that many governments have their peoples best interests in mind, but its quite hard to get that out of my head that im being lied to. I've lived in the United States southeast region all my life, and historically, politicians down here--im not sure about other places in the country-- have manipulated votes and the options of their people for their own (usually financial, religious, or prejudice options) interest. it really makes me wonder, that if some politicians down in the south are willing to intentionally make the public education worse, what else would they do? of course, i still wonder about all the conspiracy shit like aliens or whatever; im only human! unless they lied about that too....
