I want a shelf... but I'm broke and cannot find a job

I've been living nicely to be honest with you, been going outside, having friends, havinf alone time and I've been getting a lot of books, sadly I don't have a proper place to put then so they've been pilling up my floor like I haven't been cleaning. Obviously I should buy one, but like ghe subject suggests I am not in the position to get it. So any good ways to display/shelf my books without an actual shelf?? Or are they forever bound to the floor?
