The drivers throwing water on a class B fire are counteracting any benefit the fire extinguishers are doing. SMH Not only is the water spreading the petroleum which spreads the fire, but the water is also washing away the foam that smothers the fire. It is bad that not one of those drivers knew this and stopped the other drivers from pouring water onto the fire. They were just wasting those fire extinguishers and fighting the fire in vain.
If you react fast enough, this could have been put out. You have to be fast though. Drop your trailer, pull away, ask other drivers for help and everyone soak the fire with the fire extinguishers only. NO WATER!!!
