Tomadachi Life {Day 3} (You're a Witness to Armed Robbery, Charlie Brown!)

We've made it to Day 3! Congrats me! But for real, I've been spending way too much creating new Miis for Starburst that it made up the majority of my play-time today. This one is going to be shorter than the previous two blogs, due to how much time was spent implementing the Miis for today. So I hope you don't mind if I take some time to vent out my frustration from the creation process for these three buggers.

Good old Charlie Brown! You can't go wrong with him! Such a simple and lovable character to give the island some much needed optimism!  And best of all, he wasn't a pain in the ass to make like the other two residents.

CONFOUND THOSE DOVER BOYS!

OH HOW I HATE THEM!

I HATE TOM!

I HATE DICK!!

AND I HATE LARRY!!!

...But to be frank with you, I think I did a pretty good job with him, considering there was no Mii reference of him for me to copy. I especially like the eyes.

I'm failing the bechdel test, because only one fourth of my Miis are female! Not only did I add another woman to my island, but a bisexual one at that!

...

Okay, trying to make Kim took a lot longer than I initially anticipated. I spent waaay too long trying to get her eyes to look just right. Eventually I caved and just copied someone else's design. Speaking of which, I'm going to be including the links to any references I use going forward. Check the bottom of my blogs for the included links.

And with that, I've officially hit 10 Miis on my island!

Regarding new additions to the island itself, a brand-new restaurant has opened for Miis to converse with. 

Due to the influx of new arrivals, I would briefly expand the terrain for the islanders until I could think of how I would transform the island further.

And now...to commemorate my island lingo hitting double digits, I will now read out some of Starburst's most popular phrases:

"Yaoi"

This just in! Toko can indeed remember what she did yesterday and has the innate ability to consume "some" cherries!

Ever since my Mii moved in with Shaggy, he had been having trouble expressing his gratitude towards him. So I gave him some helpful advice to communicate how he truly felt.

BREAKING NEWS! An armed robbery had taken place today at Starburst's local department store this afternoon. The individual fled the scene of the crime with the stolen item, a pink plastic flamingo lawn ornament and a singular lawn chair.

The perpetrator was cornered outside their own backyard as they were later taken into custody. Upon interrogating the individual, she would repeatedly shout. "You try keeping your garden looking this beautiful while raising a green raisin child all day!"

Foreshadowing is a literary device in which a writer gives an advance hint of what is to come later in the story.

If anyone on this island would talk about what they would do with..."that", it would be the guy who's known for his massively long tongue, and the guy named Boo.

So apparently, even though Toko made the decision to live with my Mii and Shaggy, she has yet to be friends with Shaggy. This girl is driving me up a wall.

And lastly, after fulfilling my islander's requests, they presented me with a bronze trophy!

Okay, I need to be honest with everyone. I've been enjoying my time with the game so far and seeing which of my residents form relationships with who...but making these posts takes so damn long. It's one thing to spend multiple hours so you have enough content to fill a blog, and it's another spending one to two hours just on writing, putting images together, and linking said images on Spacehey. It's currently 9 PM and I still need to work on images before I head to sleep.

Now I'm not cancelling the series, especially when I'm only at day three, but I need to alter my approach so that I don't spend so many hours focused solely on the editing process.
