Yap Session 3: Socialist Anarchism and how Social Anarchists would deal with criminals

        So, I would be able to say that I believe in the ideology of Socialist Anarchism due to the core components of No state AND no capitalism, the mutual communitve aid, and the direct democracy within a communitees assemblies. Honestly, the majority of the crime we see today comes from many components with the few example that I will state as inequality, poverty, and the most prominent one, the lack of community support. Now essentially with Socialist Anarchism, there will NOT be any sort of police or prisons, so how are you supposed to deal with criminals? First of all, harm would try to be prevented; but in the unfortunate case of something happening, there are many processes of which the person harmed can go forth with (ex: no contact, community support, counceling). Furthermore, if consensual and asked, (by the person that was harmed) they would get together with the community and the person that had caused them harm and discuss what had occurred and decide how they will handle it and what the person that has caused harm to another can do to make things right and what they can do to make sure nothing of this harm will occur again. For example, if person A sexually assaulted person B, the community would get together and make sure person B feels herd and safe. Next, a TRAINED VOULENTEER would talk with person B (ONLY IF PERSON B IS COMFERTABLE AND FEELS SAFE ENOUGH TO TAKE INTO DISCUSSION) then discuss with person A, and figure out collectively what the community can do to help, person A must complete a series of steps set by the community on account of their actions and depending on the situation, anywhere from counseling sessions, some commentative behavior programs, community supervision, accountability lesions both sides is getting regular "checkups" by members of the community to make sure whatever plan was set, is being followed. This restorative justice system guarantees the prevention of harm in the future if it is being followed correctly and help resolve any possible upcoming issue. 

PS: I honestly was very hesitant posting this yap session, I have been wanting to yap about this for a while now, but just never came upon it. Glad I did tho !! I had a lot of fun just being able to yap! I have believed with the socialist anarchism ideology for a quite a long time now am just glad I have a wonderful space like SpaceHey that I am able to just yap on and feel comfortable yapping on !! You will see bad spelling and grammar out of me, but if we ignore it, it will all be a-okay !
