Brazil's law about social media for people under 18.

We NEED to talk.

First of all, I'm posting this blog only because I'm using a VPN. Otherwise I'd be blocked from using SpaceHey.

So, there's this new law here in Brazil that blocks people under 18 from using social media without linking it to their parents accounts, which is funny because Instagram, Tik Tok and other apps like this are working just fine, EXCEPT FOR SPACEHEY.

This is what I got when logging in without a VPN.

Want to know something EVEN FUNNIER? We can't use social media, but the age of consent for sexual activities is 14. And there is another law prohibiting abortion.

Seriously, idk what to do anymore..

I actually read about this a time ago. My first thought was that it was a great thing. With that kind of law, you can control more what kids see on internet, specially now when there is a lot of fckng pdfs around.

But now I am noticing from you that it's not actually that good. If you can post a blog explaining more about this, Β‘it would be great!

This is most likely because SpaceHey doesn't sell or give away your data to the government. This kind of laws are passed so big corporations can work together with governments to control the population through mass surveillance, it's the hot new thing.

I would recommend you that if you can keep logging with a VPN, just do it. Encryption services are even better, browser like Tor or Brave are ideal. I know it sounds like a big conspiranoic thing, but that's the reality about those kind of new laws about technology and minors.
