America is becoming worse every day

(This is a pretty political blog. If you’re not interested in this kind of stuff, it’s okay to click off, but I would still recommend you reading the whole thing.)

America is becoming a very unsafe place for many people. It’s only been worse ever since trump was elected again. Ever since his election, there have been so many discriminatory things happening in America that need to be put into the common view. Every day, it seems that this country is the cause of fear being put into not just Americans, but people all over the world as well.

Recently, the state of Kansas has made it illegal for trans people to drive. As of February 26, the state has issued a law that makes it so your ID must match your assigned sex at birth. If you are caught with an ID that doesn’t match your assigned sex at birth, people can receive misdemeanor charges and fines up to $1000. This makes the trans and non-binary community in Kansans constantly in fear that they can get charged and be unable to drive just because they express themselves in unique ways.

Additionally, 9 states have issued attacks against section 504. Section 504 is a law forbids discrimination against people with disabilities. These states say it is unconstitutional. But without section 504, rights would be removed from millions of Americans. Discrimination against disabled folks would be totally okay, and that’s an issue. If section 504 gets removed, places like hospitals would be totally fine not treating disabled people just because they are disabled. Without section 504, many basic rights would be removed from disabled people. Most notably, the freedom of life.

These are just basic things that are discriminatory towards people. There is still a lot wrong with America. From ICE deporting children as young as 5 years olds and allegedly S/A’ing people, to put tax dollars being use to support Israel and the mass genocides they are doing, America is becoming a scary place for all over the world.

Sorry if this isn’t that good, this is my first real political essay I’ve actually wrote down. I just felt like I needed to spread this further. I hope you enjoyed.

Oh my god the other day I saw a YouTube short about the whole Iran war thing that’s going on and the person in the short was complaining about how people will say “First war, kind of nervous!” (Which I don’t fully see anything wrong with it, as long as you aren’t making fun of the lives lost or someone else’s trauma the I believe humor is a good way to cope)
And people in the comments were saying “Kids would said “I’m so scare for war!!” While they lounge in their living room in their suburban house with a middle class family”
Like
How ignorant do you have to be??
If you aren’t some old ass rich white pedophile then you are not fucking safe
It doesn’t matter if you’re middle class or not, no one is ever truly safe in this country anymore. They’re just coming after the minorities first

As someone from Mexico (a guy from Latin America giving his opinion on the United States, lol.), I think the United States is scary. Leaving aside ICE and deportations, it's worrying that one government attacks another without NATO's permission (as in the case of Venezuela). And the worst part is that few people realize how serious it really is that someone so powerful can do whatever they want without the permission of an organization as large and powerful as NATO, and NATO itself doesn't do anything about it. But honestly, they want to condemn the one who sustains NATO economically, politically, and technologically, and coordinate more to compensate for what the United States contributes.

The United States is scary.
