What they clearly don't get is that the money that goes into the defense black hole is like 90% graft. The pentagon can't and won't account for where that money goes and somehow billionaires seem to increase their wealth by about as much money as was bilked from the taxpayers in the name of whatever holy war these psychopaths have started this time (You honestly start to lose count as you get older). Like how do you get $990 billion and say you need more for interceptor rockets? Like what exactly did you spend that money we gave you already on? Oh you plead the 5th? Ok... Got it.

The fact that the pentagon is experiencing arms shortages is their own fault. What's happening to the US now is like what happened to Russia in Ukraine. The grifter oligarchs have been telling Trump that the money went to good use and increased the military capabilities, but it mostly went into building supplies for billionaire bunkers in Jackson Hole, or that would be my guess. It all goes out the back door some way or another. Since there is no accountability in that section of the budget, that tends to be where the most corrupt people focus their energy. Like Elon, who couldn't find civilian buyers for cybertrucks, but then spent a few million in political contributions to secure a contract with the military to make cybertruck UAV's... Which are likely exactly the cybertrucks that didn't sell... Thats how all this shit has worked for, well, at least since Eisenhower gave the famous military industrial complex speech.

Also, why do you think tech stocks go up every time there is a war? It means more predictable and huge amounts of income for the foreseeable future, with almost no oversight or accountability (And no, don't expect Democrats to put a stop to this free-for-all either...  They are the oligarchy's most loyal lap dogs). That is the shit that gives wall street a hard-on.
