my foreign name

no one can pronounce my damn name </3

so im hispanic, and i have 2 names, both spanish. and before i started using my second name for school and outside interactions (yk people who don't know im trans), no one could pronounce my first legal name. like, from K-7 no one could pronounce my legal name. I started going by my chosen name (Ethan) in 6th grade, but supply teachers used my legal one. not a single teacher has ever pronunced it correctly.

i dont use my first name anymore, only family calls me it. but with my second name, its somehow harder for people to say it. and sometimes i even get teased for my name in racist ways.
I remember in 8th grade when i moved to an actual middle school, some girl, completely out of nowhere just started to mock my name as I passed by. like purposely stuttering. and that really really hurt. my 8th grade teacher took 2 weeks to remember how to pronounce my name too, so i felt like shit.

that same girl goes to my high school. and even then, most every person who mocked my name or mocked me for being trans are at my high school and in my classes. they hate me for no reason whatsoever too. like fuck </3333

i opted to choosing an english name for my second name, which is Andy. So mix that with my trans-chosen name, my names are Ethan Andy. pick one.

I use Ethan outside of school and with friends, and Andy for school. I wish being trans was more accepted so I could just use my chosen name and not have to pick an english one for my second, but we ball and move forward. even then, I like having Andy as a name people can call me.

My sisters name is Addy, so we'd be Addy and Andy. I love it fr

anyway, back to learning bullshit >w<
