DISCLAIMER: If the topic of ICE or Trump is sensitive to you I do not reccomend reading this!! It's just how ICE has been affecting me personally and my thoughts on it.

what. the. fuck. I was just trying to be proud of being Mexican and someone tells me they hope ICE deports me?? I'm here legally, I'm a minor, and I have no criminal record whatsoever. But the sad thing? ICE still detains people even with these factors. Do people realize that this is an actual fear for me?? That I'm actually scared of coming home one day to no parents?? People truly don't understand how much of a problem ICE is. It's causing people to live in fear and teaching others to hate anything different. I agree with putting child traffickers (why isn't Trump in prison?) and drug traffickers in prison, but innocent families trying to go about their day and build a better life for themselves?? More than 70% of the people who are currently detained by ICE have no criminal record whatsoever. America is meant to be a mixing pot of cultures, it was literally built by immigrants. It saddens me so much to see people hate others simply for their accents, the color of their skin, not speaking English (the U.S does not have an official language!!) for just not looking white. ugh...what are we going to do?
