𖤐plot:

The Hellsing Organization is a secret British group tasked with protecting the country from supernatural threats, especially vampires. It is led by Integra Hellsing, a strong and determined young woman, her greatest weapon is Alucard, an ancient, powerful vampire who serves the Hellsing family loyally. Alongside him is Seras Victoria, a former police officer turned vampire after being mortally wounded in the line of duty. She becomes Alucard’s apprentice and a new recruit to the Hellsing family’s fight.

(the story starts the same way, but from the moment the Valentine brothers appear, they change dramatically)

 ♱ Father Alexander Anderson - rival of Alucard. He lives in Italy, operating an orphanage outside Vatican City. Anderson's body is genetically modified to be a Regenerator, a superhuman able to fight supernatural creatures.

 𖤐 Butler Walter C. Dornez - "Angel of Death" with deadly razor sharp wires. He had a close friendship with both Integra and Hellsing Agency.

 𖤐 Captain Pip Vernedead - leader of the group of mercenaries known as the Wild Geese. A shallow, perverted, and chain-smoking French mercenary.

I discovered the world of Hellsing at a very young age, so I can definitely say that it's my favorite anime with many complex characters. Hellsing in some way shaped my love for dark gothic media.

Refers to Hermes Trismegistus, figure associated with alchemy and hidden knowledge. The

bird symbolizes powerful or immortal being. Wings as freedom - eating or destroying your own wings means limiting yourself.

“Angel dust”

A Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kohta Hirano

While Angel Dust remains largely obscure, Anderson’s character would later be reimagined and adapted into Hellsing, where he takes on a far more militant and fanatical persona. Despite the differences, the foundations of his characterization—faith, violence, and redemption—are laid in Angel Dust.
