Okay to not be okay

Today was the first day in awhile where I felt like I shouldn’t even try at life anymore. I was too hard on myself and yes I had a break down but that’s okay. Sometimes all we need is to let out our emotion to feel better. It’s okay to not feel okay and do absolutely nothing all day, or even give ourself some time to do something we enjoy for awhile and kind of “disconnect” from our routines and do something fun. 


I have to remind myself that it’s okay to be sad, it’s okay to feel useless or worthless. It’s okay to feel things but it’s not okay to feel invalid and to hide emotions. 

I felt like I needed to dump this here cause maybe someone else feels the same.
