ICE just shot someone a couple blocks down from my apartment, there was a huge ICE [raid? conglomeration? flock?] on my street, we could see it from our windows and balconies. They arrested a few people and tear gassed protesters all down the street. They threw tear gas right outside my girlfriend's apartment, some people's dorms got gas inside. Mostly we were all on our balconies yelling at them, including me a little bit, though I got scared once more ICE agents showed up and I went inside. It's also freezing cold outside, that's why I didn't go protesting yesterday. My two roommates went though, they said yesterday was generally peaceful (I don't think ICE was even there) but it was super cold. I'm just really upset and sad about the man that was shot and the people that were detained. I don't even know what ICE was doing, I don't think they raided any buildings, just stood around waiting for a protester to go too far so they could use brutal force and arrest them.
This is disgusting, disturbing and should not be allowed, ever. Also very upset about the children that were detained, and the ones whose families have been torn apart. All ICE agents suck and are Nazis and little pathetic bitch men and stink like POOP!!!!! Sorry I just have nothing to say that hasn't already been said this just sucks so bad right now
In other news.....my classes started this week, but got canceled on Friday because of the cold (and the general strike) so I only had two, morning class on Wednesday and afternoon studio on Thursday. I have friends in my studio drawing class but I hate drawing the live model, nothing against them obviously I just am uncomfortable with a random naked guy in the room that I'm supposed to draw. Nothing I can do about it though, just brave through it. My other class was YA lit and it was okay. I'm scared to go to class on Monday now. I would've posted this earlier but I forgot my laptop at my gf's apartment cuz we were watching Lord of the Rings. I'll be posting some new art and my outfits here soon, TTYL
