I hate how normalized ''blindly voting'' is

Seriously, is it that fucking hard to know the values and beliefs of the person you're voting for? "Oh, they're all the same anyways blah blah" no, cunt, they're not. That's the person that's gonna control us for the next 4 years, you know, the person that's gonna decide if your child has the chance to get a degree.... or even grow up at that?

The mindset of "oh it's not like my vote is gonna do anything!" Is both incredibly retarded and the reason our country's democracy is falling apart into pure hysteria. It goes from 1 person having that ideology to 20 people, to 50, to half of the country that gets easily influenced by what's "morally correct" or "more widely supported". No, you're just another useless, brainwashed centrist scum. 

I'm an anarchist, I don't believe that we should be controlled by a random motherfucker with a heritage. But, in times like these where humans have to depend on someone else to feel safe — it's best to KNOW who you're supporting, who's gonna keep the country balanced. 

I had a relative ask me who they should vote for (which is already ridiculous, considering I'm 14 and they're 40+ years old), to which I replied "the PCP (Portuguese communist party) might be our safest choice right now, if we want to progress as something more than a tourist attraction." And, obviously, they got pissed. "Fucking communism? I hate commies." Pfft. "Do you really? Or do you base your opinion whether the majority supports it or not?" No response. Of course.
