Opinion on boycotting slander

This is about the comment saying, "Boycotting is a privilege."

Personally, I believe thinking boycotting is a privilege is a privilege itself. But I won't get into too many details on that. In past tenses boycotting was one of the most popular forms of peaceful protests, and it still should be. Boycotting has worked ever since 1791, now why shouldn't it work now? Yes, the most commonly sources that people want to boycott are used in everyday items, but there are ways to avoid that. I'm not saying I'm a saint when it comes to boycotting but I'd never say "boycotting is a privilege" because it is NOT. It makes me wonder if even know how boycotting works. Of course, it's not going to show any progress when you're spreading the word that it's never going to work. So yes, I do boycott with brands. I'm not sure what this particular video was about I watched it a few days ago. It might've been a boycott based on political divide (it probably was, that's all it ever is these days.) Anywho, boycotting has and does work, it just actually takes time, progress, and groups of people to actively be participating.
