i hate the UN

I'm here to talk about the potential war between the United States and Venezuela. It's more than OBVIOUS that things could end VERY BADLY, and I don't understand why the UN isn't doing ANYTHING. I mean, are you telling me that you were created after two WORLD WARS precisely to prevent conflicts between countries and to defend human rights, and with one single war, you do NOTHING? Literally, a simple war could end up creating WORLD WAR III. I also don't understand why the UN isn't doing a damn thing about Maduro. IT'S OBVIOUS THAT THE GUY ISN'T IN POWER BECAUSE THE PEOPLE VOTED FOR HIM. EVERYONE HATES HIM. WHY WOULD THEY VOTE FOR SOMEONE THEY HATE? YOU HAVE TO BE A COMPLETE IMBECILE TO SAY, "But he assumed power by the people's vote," when it's obvious THAT HE DIDN'T. They can't do nothing; Venezuela is literally living under a fucking dictatorship, AND THEY DO NOTHING. What’s the point of an organization that claims to defend human rights if it only releases statements while people live under dictatorships? "We are an organization that defends human rights; we are here to prevent conflict between countries. Fascism is wrong, and so are dictatorships," AND THEY DO NOTHING. Words don’t stop wars. Statements don’t stop dictators.
