The gap keeps getting bigger

This time the colonization is local, not foreign, and the cage monkeys this year are the working class.

While the rich deny that this class belongs to them or shares their same blood, they glamorize poverty, flour, and fake protein, wrapping it all in a more ‘modern’ look because the real picture is too ugly. So that class gets polished without actually being polished, the street gets cleaned without really being cleaned, the damp wall becomes a photo spot without the wall actually changing — and don’t forget to buy a bright white jacket because the guy doesn’t even have an electric washing machine.

Polishing poor streets and exhausted people only shows how much the gap keeps getting bigger. The human becomes a monkey, the house becomes a cage, and the streets become a zoo. The brown people wear a European-style jacket covered with a light Arabic accent, and so we don’t have to deal with those people unless we’re forced to.
