I just don't think that high school seniors are capable of consenting. Their brains aren't fully developed which could impair their ability to make smart decisions! Also, the idea of a 33-year-old and an 18-year-old being allowed too legally have s*x with each other feels wrong to me and a lot of other people I've talked to about this. I believe the age of consent should be 21. I might just sound like a puritan, but I don't care (` ﾛ ´). I feel very strongly about this, feel free to share your opinions!

i feel it should be 21 too, at eighteen you can start a family & get drafted but not drink?? it has just been so weird to me, plus like fresh out of school no way man, & your brain isn't even fully developed!!

I think you're right. 18 is still a teen (i say it as an almost 20🙏). like most of me peers still dont understand many things and are naive. also my older sis who is already 30 said that yes, most of people gaining real maturity around 21-25 yo. frontal lobe and shi. 18yo def shouldn't have relationship with a middle age person

i feel like 18 is better imo. definitely not 16 though. i heard the age of consent is 16 so that teens who have consensual sex dont go to jail
i respect ur opinion! in some places in America the age of consent is way to low.
