The government doesn’t want me on spacehey

If you haven't known or noticed yet, the uk government has banned under 16s from viewing certain social media which sucks cuz i'm gonna have to find a way to get past this ban. Because of this, spacehey is no longer available (I think) in the uk so I'm having to go on spacehey with a vpn. Basically the government is trying (and failing) to stop kids from viewing harmful content but they're restricting the wrong things cuz nowadays people can get through any verification and can still get onto harmful content. it's the parents responsibility to make sure their child doesn't go on anything weird, not the government
