This is probably an old man take but I figured why distract yourself at school? Spend the day, sit and learn, then go home and play video games.
I understand it gets really boring at school but in my opinion, sitting for 6-8 hours in a room doing nothing useful is basically how they prepare you for the average white collar/tech job. That does suck so I don't blame you for wanting to do something fun.
I will warn you though, I've got friends in college who were assigned really powerful laptops for graphic design and 3D modelling. A few got busted for downloading movies because the system admin was monitoring their laptops and internet activity.
Just keep that in mind. If you don't own the hardware, do not do anything sketchy on it, you never know who's watching.
