The LIVE Animal Export Industry (DEEP-DIVE) EVERYTHING WRONG WITH CAPITALISM, Today I talk about, The highly problematic and disturbing industry known as the live animal export industry, I talk about, The animal export industry is the commercial trade of live farm animals as well as wildlife across international borders, primarily for farming, exotic pet trade, food pipeline including milk meat or leather wool, or for breeding purposes. This involves the transport of various animals, such as Cattle, Sheep, Chickens, Horses, Reptiles, Snakes, Saltwater Fish, which can occur via cargo ships, airplanes, or simi trucks, and is driven by global demand for livestock and other pet industries The industry has become a large-scale, global operation with significant economic implications. Animals are treated like commodities instead of living, feeling creatures, Farm Animals are typically sent to livestock auctions to be sold before being shipped and exported long distances At these auctions, livestock may stay for days with little or no food, water, or milking!

International transport of animals from the United States has increased significantly. Large numbers of animals many of them pregnant cattle—were transported from the United States beginning in 2010 to establish breeding herds in Turkey, Russia, and Kazakhstan. Exports of live animals increased steadily through 2012, when nearly 200,000 live animals were exported from the United States to countries other than Canada or Mexico. Most of the over 503,000 cattle exported to countries other than Canada and Mexico since 2005 were shipped by sea—primarily to Eastern Europe and the middle east.

During transport, many problematic experiences—including inadequate ventilation, loud noises, impact animal welfare. In August 2012, more than 1,000 breeding cattle shipped to Russia from Galveston, Texas, passed away during the voyage or shortly after arrival. Another 200 animals, too far gone to be offloaded, were never accounted for and are feared to have been dumped at sea.

Unwanted racehorses are sent to feedlots in Canada, where they are then shipped live to Japan for Meat to meet demand for products like basashi (horse sashimi), There is no comprehensive plan for what happens to these horses once their racing careers end, making them disposable commodities!

Failed Investor Plan Leaves Llamas passing away On Island, a group of American millionaire investors attempted to import a herd of llamas and alpacas from Chile to Antigua, a Caribbean island, hoping to sell them. However, The Capitalist venture faced significant problems leading to MASSIVE public outcry from Vegan Animal Activists The investors wanted to sell them for about $30,000 each as pets, pack animals for hikers and breeding stock for animal agriculture in a skyrocketing market, The International Llama Association in Denver estimates that there are 25,000 in the country. Michael Jackson had one. Some llamas have sold for as much as $80,000,

The live animal export industry facilitates the illegal trade of snakes and reptiles by taking wild caught animals and using phony documentation and taking advantage of legal transport methods like air cargo jets and express mail to take in animals, Investigations by World Animal Protection in 2021 specifically named Ethiopian Airlines as a major transporter of various reptile species from West Africa, including African spurred tortoises, African ball pythons, rough-scaled lizards, Savannah monitor lizards, green bush vipers, chameleons, and scorpions!

The fish aquarium pet store industry contributes to disrupting ocean ecosystems primarily through the over-collection of wild marine life such as saltwater fish, An estimated 90% of marine fish in the aquarium trade are caught in the wild,

Dolphins are captured from the wild for aquariums using netting, Captured dolphins are then held in temporary pens before being transported globally in slings via trucks and cargo planes. The live export industry prioritizes profits by cutting costs, which subjects millions of animals to problems and creates significant negative long-term consequences for the future, including health, environmental degradation, and erosion of public trust, ETC!!!
