Why is it such a pain to post images

I don’t know if I’m just stupid but it seems like to post images on these blogs you’ve gotta use an image link maybe that’s how it was long ago but this is 2025 so it’s really just an inconvenience, maybe on the website it would be easier to paste them in but on the app there’s no paste function even when I got something copied it’s just not letting me, it seems like everyone else is putting images in their posts just fine so I really do feel stupid I don’t know why it has to be kinda a pain instead of just letting me upload the images
