My question is, why don't more people talk about these guys or do studies on them??? They're absurdly smart, showing the first signs of domestication in a similar sense to how cats domesticated themselves and are extremely adaptive. I think its super cool to think about how theyre gonna evolve alongside humanity and industrial progress, and how they might even domesticate themselves. It's also cool their effect on Europe and how they were introduced in the 1930's and how quickly they adapted and became an invasive species that has blown up into the millions. I'd love to hear other peoples thoughts on them and how they're gonna interact with humans in the future :P
