Fetish and Kink

I’ve been doing some research on fetishes and kinks recently. I think they’re interesting and have always had a sort of fascination with them. I think a lot of this came about because I started to identify as AroAce and really was exploring what sex and sexuality meant to me. Personally, the idea of sex is kind of gross to me, but everything else is something that enthrals me. I want to be engulfed in the world of kink and fetish. 

I have… tastes that aren’t too taboo or out of the ordinary i’d say, some fall farther on the spectrum than others. In particular I'm interested in the world of fashion that has to do with kink. Leather, latex, garters, shoes, corsets, it’s all so interesting in the way we see others. When others adorn these types of clothing we worship them in it. It’s not the article of clothing itself but really how the body looks in it. For some it really may just be the article of clothing but I think it’s more about the body. Heels frame the feet, elevate the form, extend the calf. It’s a display of power.

I like fetish and kink for the nature of it not being sex. Sure you can incorporate it with or leading to sex, but it doesn't have to be anything. It’s all about sensation. Pleasure, pain, dominance, submission, and desire. I’m not well read on the subject honestly and am going to read more but I'm preoccupied with learning and reading other things at the moment so unfortunately, it'll have to wait a little longer. I wanted to post something though because I miss writing and having conversations about these things.
