Yuri on ice, kakegurui, rage of bahamut, zombieland saga, banana fish... they were all great
I know they are successful with their shounen content mostly now but i need them to make shows like these again
Zombieland Saga is still going on which is fun and Zenshu was... interesting i suppose??? the reactions the anime community initially had seeing the trailers for it and laughing at the irony of mappa potentially making an anime about overworked workers was more memorable than the entire show for me
I did think the concept could have been something great but oh well
Dance dance danseur was fun but other than that idk i miss when they were a low budget madhouse ngl

i recently finished aot so its on my mind but im lowkey mad mappa animated it. wit had so much more charm and style. i dont think aot was for mappa. like yuri on ice was so damn beautiful what happened.

nowadays mappa chains up jjk animators and keeps them from leaving, taking breaks or see their families so they can animate yuta getting pegged by maki with impact frames
Literally like yes it gives the studio bank but cmon man

when they'll have to animate gojo v sukuna they gonna lock down the entire building and recreate slavery so their episodes will get 10/10 animation.I mean, jjk is their financial attraction so they gonna milk it
