I'm deciding that 25-35 is my 20s. I finally sort of have enough money to go out once in awhile and socialize I guess. Just had to slave away for half my 20s.
I don't want to grow up so I'm deciding for my own satisfaction/happiness that my 20s are from 25-35

honestly yeah, i think ppl need to stop putting sm weight on specific ages as when you're supposed to accomplish things. people are all different and have totally different situations. and it always makes me sad when people act like you can't do certain things when you get older. like you can't have fun, can't try new things, can't pursue your dreams. i'm only 18 and i already feel "too old" to start certain things, because i see other people younger than me who already have. but like they say, comparison is the thief of joy. you can't compare your own progress to strangers whose situation is entirely different to yours. anyway, didn't mean to ramble on your post, i just have Opinions about this. i'm glad u changed ur mindset :)
No you are fine, 100% valid and I feel the same way.
I just saw a funny tiktok where a guy had said the same thing, and it just made me feel more at ease.
Its more so a reminder that these social norms for each age group are kind of arbitrary and there are so many things that could throw people in different directions/phases of their life earlier, later or not at all.
Life is so chaotic, messy and unforgiving haha

Don't enclose yourself in an age group, that's just dumb in my opinion. If you wanna have fun in your 25-35 then it's your decision and there's no one else except yourself to stop you from doing as such.
yes lolol that is the mature/sensible take -- its silly to box in based on age group as everyone's life progresses differently.
Just at a point in my life where saying this to myself makes me feel better (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) .ᐟ.ᐟ
