I LOVEEEEE Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment <333

I don't have the game cause a switch 2 is crazy money and buying any of the new games is crazier money, but I watched through all the cut scenes just to get the lore and I watched the bonus conversations and AGHHHHHHH i love it sm omg. 

I'll be honest, I was kind of really disappointed with how tears of the kingdom handles their lore, because it kind of ignored botw or pretended botw didn't happen in some cases, which pains me cause I love botw, so I wasn't too excited for age of imprisonment since its canon to totk. But I ended up really liking it eueueueu.

I already loved some of the characters in totk (Rauru mwah mwah) and I've been a mentally ill fan of Link since like birth, so any game with Link I can't truly dislike, so I wasn't like dreading age of imprisonment or anything, I just wasn't hyped for it since im a bit burnt out with the botw/totk era by now. BUT I really love how they handled the lore in aoi and I think it REALLY helped me like totk more. It gave much more needed context and just made everything much more important to me idk if that makes sense.

IMO, the characters in aoi are so charming and loveable and I can like really forgive totk a lot more. I still hate the weird disconnect between totk and botw, but i think age of imprisonment rlly saved totk for me aghhhh. 

IF ANYONE READS THROUGH THIS, LEMME KNOW UR OPINONS! I would love what people have to say about the game since its like brand new. Good or bad, love or hate im so curious. 

Also as someone with Link mental illness, I was unsure at first about Link appearing as a construct in this game, but after seeing the in lore reasons as to why this construct exists I absolutely love him HDASHA. I hope they make an amiibo of him and Calamo cause their designs are so cute and cool. (I watched a bit of Pointcrow stream this game live and bc of him I have been calling this character Clink LMAO) (also that last scene of Clink was like peak AGHHHH)
