Of Typhoons and Tyrants

We were just hit by a Category 4 typhoon/cyclone/hurricane this week. 

Multiple cities in my home island have been flooded, with the cause attributed to misappropriation of disaster management funds (AKA, the big C: corruption). And now, another severe, life-threatening catastrophe is happening as I'm typing this blog entry.

In these acts of God, there can be no one to blame...but doesn't it fucking hurt when the government (derogatory) are doing what-the-fuck-ever about it?

We even had a Tourism Secretary (whatever that means) flee the country before the typhoon--which might sound like a reasonable notion, but recent evidence revealed that she and her relatives traveled on the Country's dime. Think about that, abandoning the very people who pay your salary (and paid for your all-expenses-paid trip).

I'm tired of these idiots running away with money they don't deserve. I'm tired of these even bigger idiots voting for those idiots. God, I'm just fuckin tired.
