today is December 25, 2021 and Christmas Eve was lit. my family and I ate a lot of Mexican food: tamales and pozole. plenty of wine.
I spent time with my cousin, sister, brothers, and my lover. we had pie, a few glasses of wine, and mary jane. we were listening to grunge music first then metal music, and pop punk music. I had an interesting conversation with my cousin about life and how we really do have souls and have vessels. also, about our connection with the Earth and how close we are to it. I do believe in science, however, another part of me believes in a higher power and something in a grand scale.
I feel lucky for my life and the people in it. I am extremely gifted for that. I admit that I overthink about concepts and worry too much, but I'm happy that I got to spend Christmas with my family. Perhaps that's what life is supposed to be is not a thing to take advantage of and try to be the best human as possible. Sing your heart out, write away, dance, and celebrate living with people you love.
there isn't anything that's stronger than love. it's a beautiful thing that we have as humans. random thought: Home for Christmas by NSYNC is satisfying to listen to and has a lot of holiday jams. I'll never get tired of it.
it is midnight now and I am craving coffee, but I need to sleep soon so maybe I'll have one tomorrow morning. happy holidays everyone and have a happy new year!
