Music Rec's YOU SHOULD LISTEN TOO BECAUSE I LOVE MUSIC

Hello Wonderful People today I bring another day of music that I've been hooked on and been listening to constantly, no exact specific genre either all just whatever I've been digging so without further ado lets BEGIN!




Starting off I have one of more recent favorites "Is It Luck? By Primus". "Primus Sucks" we all say in unison but for real this song is such a weird song in the best way possible, the weird guitar that sounds bad in the best way possible, and of course the bass, everyone who talks about Primus just always talks about how good Les Claypool is and well ITS JUST SO TRUE, the bass is so funky that without it this song would be dull and its so unique because of how amazing Les Clay pool is at playing it and giving it its funky sound an amazing song all around.




With my recent addiction and love being Risk Of Rain 2 I just HAD to throw in something from the soundtrack, specifically my personal favorite song from the soundtrack "The Rain Formally Known As Purple By Chris Christodoulou". Now pretty much everyone that plays this game knows this song and how fucking AMAZING it is, a 8 minute long song but man it sure as hell doesn't feel 8 minutes long. The build up and progression this song has is fucking incredible, the sound is so unique with the chords playing and whatever is is playing it all just fits perfectly, and man when the guitar hits, it GENUIENLY sends you into another world especially at the guitar solo which is the guitar solo from "Purple Rain By Prince" this whole song is a clever nod even the song title, guitar solo and man it uses it so well because you know its purple rain and it uses it in such a way that just beautiful, Fantastic song.




If it's not obvious enough, I LOVE SONIC and video game soundtracks and one of my favorite soundtracks is Sonic CD JP OST specifically our next song "Tidal Tempest By Sega". A song I don't hear a lot of people talking about even from people who like this game and OST, its such an underrated song no other song in the whole franchise even matches the vibe of this song it's such a unique sound I don't even know ow to describe it, aquatic is one and futuristic such a unique song in the whole franchise that just needs more love.




Now another recent favorite of mine is "Biblical Violence By !!ALLEH", I have no idea what the fuck is going on to be honest but it sounds really good. Math Rock in itself is such a weird genre since its just one straight line no going back after they do one part onto the next, which is exactly this song, but this song is if speedrunning math rock any% glitchless was a song, I'm exaggerating but like there on some wacky time signature and I can barely even read time signatures, but musically this song slaps my personal favorite being the drums on this song, who ever is on those drums are killing it, all around fantastic song if you love not knowing what's going on.




And for are final song and my FAVORITE SONG OF ALL TIME it's "Just Abandoned Myself By Boris". Now Boris is a band I've listen to for a while, started listening to them after my cousin showed me Naki Kyoku in early highschool around 9th grade, After listening to that whole album I was already a huge fan and as someone who wants to listen to more music I check out more of there stuff and I love it all, Listen to Feedbacker, Flood all those but of course I listen to Pink and I already loved it before I even got to Just Abandoned Myself but when I got to it, it's like a neuron activated. This song is 10 minutes of some of the best metal you will hear, it immediately hooks you in and starts swinging with the amazing guitar work Takeshi and Wata, and the drums as well in this song Atsuo just does amazing and it doesn't slow it just keeps going and going and doesn't get boring at all it's such just an amazing piece of work that not even my words can describe how amazing it is, and the ending section when the instruments slowly all go away first the drums where you are left with this amazing drawn out part with just the guitar playing and this noise just incredible. I'm so glad I saw them live this past weekend and was able to get this album on vinyl an amazing experience that I wish I could see again.
