The book fair ‧₊˚❀༉‧₊˚.

Yesterday my family and I went up north to attend an annual bookfair. It wasn’t really usual; usually it was held in the western part of town, but who am i to complain?

People usually go to these things bringing a suitcase, but since my family’s a crowd, we decided bags were enough. The convention center had three halls dedicated for the book fair. It was dazzling. One of the halls were exclusively for childrens books, which made my sister and her husband very happy to find something for my nephew; i looked around the literature aisle, history aisle, memoirs, YA (i found that YA didn’t exactly excite me as it did 2 years ago). Unfortunately i didn’t find any books on my list, but i found a treasure trove of other new interesting books. Is this what they meant by expanding tastes in literature based off personal interest and not entirely enjoying what’s popular?

The classical literature books were all limited edition and expensive, which i decided not to buy. I bought almost 10 books, i think, ranging in genres. My mom and dad too. I think the whole family bought around 37 books in total. That’ll do well for the next 2 years of reading. I suppose next is me organizing the family library.

All in all, it was fun!
